Four Activities to Teach Earth’s Spheres

Modeling 4 Earth Spheres

1. Model the spheres of Earth: This activity is perfect for visual learners. Using a ball or a globe, students can create a model of Earth’s spheres.

They can label each sphere and identify its key characteristics.

For an added challenge, students can research the interactions between the different spheres.

Experimenting with Earth’s Spheres

2. Conduct an experiment: Students can conduct an experiment to observe how the different spheres of Earth interact.

For example, they can place a piece of food in a sealed container and observe how it decomposes over time. This activity allows students to see first-hand how the biosphere interacts with the other spheres of Earth.

Create a poster

3. Create a poster: Using what they have learned about the different spheres of Earth, students can create a poster.

This poster can include information about the spheres, their interactions, and any other interesting facts that students have learned.

I think all of the products I have purchased from this creator is excellent. I always search their page to see if they have a bundle.
The text is organized so well and easy to read. It is all put together so well and works for both grades I teach.
The graphic organizers are my favorite tool and my kids love it. I usually give them a class period before a Jeopardy Review game for a quiz/test to complete it. Then they can use those notes for the game to earn extra credit for assessment.
I think it is also reasonably priced for the quality and all you get. Thank you!

My students used this to reinforce their learning. Since I have many ELL students, I like to use things that require them to practice their reading and comprehension skills. This activity was placed in their Science journals so they can refer back to it as they review material.

This is a great way to liven up note taking! My students were engaged and eager to add color after filling in each section. I noticed when friends were coloring it in together, a few helped correct incorrect information on the lines.
